How many wraps are suggested for hay and straw?

Most BRS customers use 2-3 wraps for hay and 3-4 wraps for straw.

What make of baler will BRS net wrap work in?

BRS net wrap is suitable in all makes of balers.

How much does a roll weigh?

64" x 7000': 84.3lbs, 8000': 95.2 lbs, 9000': 106.2lbs
67" x 7000': 88.5lbs, 8000': 100 lbs, 9000': 111.7 lbs

How does the net wrap come off of frozen bales?

BRS net wrap peals off frozen bales with minimal frustration; leaving no strings stuck to the bale or left in the feed yard.

How many bales will a roll of net wrap make?

This will depend on the size of bale and the number of wraps used.  For example, with a 7000' roll, making 5' bales with two wraps per bale, the operator will make roughly 222 bales. With three wraps per bale, a roll will make roughly 148 bales.

Because BRS Net Wrap has a heavier weight and breaking strength, can I use less wraps?

This is operator preference.  We suggest 2-3 wraps for hay and 3-4 wraps for straw.

How heavy of spec is BRS Net Wrap?

64" - 390kg and 67" - 400kg

How many rolls come on a pallet?

7000': pallets of 16, 20 & 25 rolls
8000': pallets of 16 rolls
9000': pallets of 16 rolls

How many bales can be made once I see the End of the Roll Red Stripe?

The end of the roll red stripe will appear on the last 450'. Depending on the number of wraps and the size of bales, the operator may get an additional 7-14 bales left on the roll.
